One thing a lot of scene girls have in common is they're colorfully dyed hair. Having colorful hair isn't really a requirement to be scene, but it does earn you some brownie points, because you'll stand out more. And isn't that the whole point of being scene? To be unique, original, and cause a scene? Or somewhat, at least. I dye my hair often, and a lot of people ask me a bunch of questions about it, such as 'What kind of hair dye do you use?' 'Do you have to bleach your hair?' and 'Isn't your hair going to fall out if you dye your hair a lot?'. And the answers to all of those is very simple. I use special effects hair dye from Sally's, or Splat! from CVS. I usually do have to bleach my hair, especially if I'm doing a new color. But if I'm just redoing the same color, then no, I don't have to bleach it first. And dying your hair will NOT make your hair fall out. Bleaching damages it, causing it to get brittle and break, or cause split ends. But unless you left bleach on your hair for like.. a week straight, its not going to fall out. And the actual color doesn't even damage your hair. If anything, it rejuvenates it. But yeah, thats a few things on the colorful hair of most scene girls and guys(:

Guys with short hair who want to have a scene hairstyle should dye their hair blonde or black. They should razor their hair and straighten them. They can also keep a long fringe of black hair with red streaks. They can also go for a gelled look like Johnny Christ after washing their hair thoroughly.
